Ever since Conexión Salsa Fiesta was launched in 2009 November its recipe remained the same: fanatics of LA/NY style dancers + the best musics available + great location. It became known very soon in the neighbouring countries and we almost always had the pleasure to host dancers coming from Slovakia, Austria and Romania. As for me Conexión also means the starting point in my salsa photography carrier, I remember how excited I was when I first took those social dancing pictures in March 2010, and also when I accidentally discovered how to create those blurry-style images (THIS was the first one). It’s always good to look back and see how I improved step-by-step. Of course this wouldn’t have been possible without all the positive feedbacks I received from the dancers, something I’m really grateful of! The second anniversary was celebrated just like the very first opening party: full day workshops with Terry&Cecile (from Paris) and a huge party with shows. All I can say is that it simply was the BEST Conexión ever, we had DJ H, Stilo and Vili playing, and half of the people were from Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Austria, it was like being on a salsa congress!
